Poll Question:
I have two things that I feel are important for tending to.
First of I wanted to talk about Guides.
Now I see alot of guides being made and mostly issue involving them are:
1. Some being ripped.
2. Some being poorly written or weak attempt.
3. Some being well written but not being rewarded.
4. All the guides of ALL types end up in Neopets guide section.
Now here is what I wanted to suggest and yap complain about the matter:
1. Moderators should double their efforts especially to that section.
2. More guide sections should be implanted for proper sections(Program guides for instance) and the transfer of guides to their proper sections.
3. Make proper way to evaluate guides, like my idea is a section should be made for guide reviewing where new guides are to be posted, mods or admins check them out, Award the worthy ones and move them to their sections and junk ones to the junk.
4. This just an Extra but have sticky-ed Index would help? I can make the indexes if this idea is approved.
So basically this would really tidy things up and would really create a mechanism for people to actually earn points through making guides I hardly see people being rewarded there.
Second part is about TRADING.
The community has grown fast and big, new comer have came, so have scammers, and by the time someone decides to deal with a scammer he alreay has made about a few scams worth some mils and 3-6 people have been scammed.
Now I'm gonna say this crudely to the admins you guys may feel you don't get any damage when someone gets scammed but you quite much do, See many people here actually are here only for trading they are not interested in the hacks or earning points or whatever, for them this a trade terminal and a pretty hot one too so what I want to say is when a bunch of people get scammed here they get discouraged and they might stop trading and may not even refer this site further cause they know they probably might get scammed. The damage you receive here is losing member and publicity, Trading is a very good source for publicity and if this site starts to make a good impression in that HiddenBelow.com is just a few days away from being the Best of the best.
but right now the situation is something like this.
Longlostuser, reported by 4 members now to be a scammer no action has been taken and freshly, trying to keep his root here he made a new user(Investor) and try to divert intention off him by pretending to be on of his own victims now this is his reactions and confidence here
Now I sincerely wished to state that an Implant should be made for trading user, for example: trust points, evaluation, a trading pass and post count limits whatever you find easy to do.
So far the auction thing hasn't worked at all, no one is using it...So I really wish this be taken in a constructive way I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feeling over here, I'm just letting out whats going on and sometimes even when a man is busy he has to do all things in his responsibility...
Anyway I'ma make a poll on this let the community decide if something should be done about this or not.

| very ncie statements feeniks, COMPLETELY agree with you man. and if I understand your last point about scamming was that people need to take action so the site isn't at a loss? if theres any way i can help im here :) im not a moderator but id lvoe to help if possible |

The section of trade should be better organized as it's of extreme importance. |

Both sections aren't the most popular on HB tho...
For guides, everyone goes on a Neo help site, they would most likely only come here for a cheat or glitch they can read about and exploit. SO to me, this isn't really that important but still warrants some sort of policing, like if a guide isn't well done, it is flagged and the user given some time to fix it etc etc.
For trades, HB isn't as active in trading as say **** is but still I don't really feel safe trading here cuz scammers, spammers etc etc go unpunished most of the time so I just go elsewhere to trade even tho my loyalty is to HB. There needs to be a trade rep system for sure and some moderators for the trade section that act very quickly, also more middlemen.
All in all to me we need more active STRICTER mods that strike down, they dont have to warn or ban, you know, just deal with the spam, trades etc etc. It's kinda of slack here and there and inconsistent but no complaints, I'm for these ideas. |

I have no comment on the first advice that you guys handle out to me. Because of the fact that I think a check on the guides are good, but not the most necessary thing on this very moment now. Yep I agree that we could give sometime for people inside the forum to fix it (I remember the case of anime wallpaper and the "testing board")
About the second thing:
Okay I got to be quick about this and I got to say that I was seriously pissed by people having dramas on the trade section
With ignorance of the other cases, for how many times that I have said that you are NOT allowed to complain publicly on the trade section? I have locked up two complaining post and gosh, you guys are actually making more and more! I believe I have said it more than once that you are NOT allowed making such post on public!
And I believe I can¡¦t shut your mouth on the public when we saw you guys accusing each other!
Yes I agree that scamming is very much an important issue here. But who said that you are allowed to accuse each other on public now! What is PM used for?
I am so ****ing sick of seeing people saying someone is blah and then the others go and said that "**** away you don't have a life you XXXXXXXX" and something going on like that again and again. Heck I am not here to see you guys having a hectic situation! I am here just for replying you guys and deleting spam!
Revise yourself what you have said in the trade section. I just want to bring this into the table so as to mention this right now. |

I agree with Iong on this. Scamming is an issue but no public accusations please.
I mean HOW do we know people speak the truth? WE DON'T. Even screenshots can't prove it. We can't just allow everyone to be able to lie about who scammed who.
"trust points, evaluation, a trading pass and post count limits " sounds good, but remember, scammers don't usually scam at EVERY trade. Usually only the big ones. They make their move when no-one suspects. Usually.
About guides- not really the MOST important thing now but maybe something for on the to-do-list.

I agree on both parts.
But I'll talk about the second Idea since I don't go in the guide section much
All I have to say about that section is that we should just post guides about hacks, or glitches on neo, anything else we can find it on helpful neosites.
So for the trading part.
I understand about the public accusation part, it creates drama and all...
but how can people be on the lookout of scammers?
should someone PM Every single member about a scammer ?...
Also, even if trading isnt the most popular section here, it will be in the future, since I've been here, I have seen the popularity on the trading section has gone up quite much.
But that section isnt monitored enough..
Because face it, if there are scammers THERE WILL BE "Drama"
And people who looses millions of NP or Alot of money is a big deal for them.
I would understand why they would make thread about scammers, to warn others and I think its okay and helpful, yes it creates drama but like I said, if someone gets scammed, there will be drama xD. |

Well as far 'accusation part' is No one will accuse anyone else unless they are scammed and when number start to rise it definitely means something is up at that point you do not need proof for the member them selves are the proof and Its very much best for everyone to be informed since no mods comes up and Posts this guy is a scammer do not trade with them, Even fake accusations are helpful since they actually alert everyone to be careful and be cautious.
